Miss Ross

Contrary to poular belief, I am not going to post about the Oscars today.. If you want to read about how awful they were, go to any other blog than this one..When I fired up my DVR this weekend and saw who Oprah had on as a guest on Friday... I knew I had a to say something about..

MISS DIANA ROSS.

Diana Ross is one the most celebrated global icons in history with a remarkable career spanning over five decades.  Shes had 12 grammy nominations, one oscar nomination and has won a tony and a golden globe. She is one of only Six recording artists to receive 2 stars on the holllywood walk of fame and one of only 2 people for whom Oprah has EVER given up her seat on stage left to ( Barbara Streisand is the other)
Diana  or as she prefers.. Miss Ross.. looked amazing!! giving you three costume changes and singing 3 songs  ( one sung directly to Miss O, bringing her to tears) plus a great interview. ..

I was quite taken back by the appearance of all 5 of Miss Ross' children. I had always been under the impression that she did not have a good relationship with them.. but as it would appear (who knows, they could have all been putting on a good front for the cameras) they are a tight-knit and well-grounded family.

Who knew that normal could come from all that crazy Diana spews!! I bet she will be the next one to do Vegas.. and if she doesnt have plans to she needs to get on it!!! I watched "Lady sings the blues" last night on the Centric network ( for all you white people out there thats one of the black people channels you didnt know exists LOL) thats the movie that Diana recieved her Oscar nomination for.. she played Billie Holiday, another brilliant and troubled soul and a world-class crack head..

Well thats all for now... Hope you enjoyed your weekend! Mine was ok.. nothing to write home about.. see you tomorrow! Muah!!
